Sheep of Setenil de las Bodegas

$1,200.00

30” x 40” Oil Painting on framed canvas (frame included).

Last summer I went on a painting retreat in southern Spain. During one of our free days, we stopped into town. On a little bridge, crossing over a ravine that splits the town in half, we hear bells followed by a few baas.

The inspiration for this painting were the group of sheep that we watched mozy down the ravine, nibbling at flowering trees along the way.

The frame is my “something found” from the series. A beautiful gold frame in perfect condition, the only hint that it is repurposed is the title plate naming the old artwork. A nod to it’s history.
